So it seams that when i go to Bennett lake I always mange to photograph what I am after.
It may have something to do with working there for 6 years when i was a teenager.
And that it is one of the best places in the park to see wildlife, just rent a boat from Sinc’s Boat and you’re on your way to find:
So on July 5th I set out to Fundy Park for the day. I ended up being in a monsoon rain in a canoe at Bennett Lake, thinking to myself “Why, oh why, am I not in Moncton sitting in the comfort of my studio.
After the monsoon cleared up, a beaver stirred from his hiding place. The beaver wasn’t fazed at my presence (5 feet away) and went right to work.
Came across this Eagle’s nest yesterday while I was biking. Neighbors to the nest say that the babies have hatched about 6-7 days ago. It’s funny that I went all the way to Kentville, NS two years ago in the dead of winter to photograph eagles when I could have just went 15 minutes from my house in Moncton and got better photos. As a photographer, we some times overlook what’s in our own backyard.
